The Opportunity A leading Australian consultancy is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to architect and deliver secure, scalable cloud platforms for government, defence, finance, and enterprise clients. This hybrid position combines on-site engagement with office and home-based flexibility, giving you the variety of environments you need while ensuring close alignment with critical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Architect secure cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and hybrid platforms. Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation. Streamline CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline. Apply Zero Trust security models and compliance frameworks such as Essential Eight, IRAP, GDPR, and PCI DSS. Lead cloud migration and transformation projects end-to-end. Mentor engineers, standardise governance practices, and uplift technical capability. Support FinOps initiatives to ensure scalable and cost-effective operations. Skills & Experience Proven experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure delivery, or security engineering. Hands-on expertise across Azure and AWS platforms. Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks in regulated industries. Proficiency with automation and observability platforms. Strong communication and consulting skills. Certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate. Baseline Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain). Why Join?
